About the Project
The McEwen High School remodeling and expansion project was envisioned as part of a larger plan to alleviate the damage caused to Humphreys County’s educational infrastructure by the devastating flood of August 2021.
Lashlee-Rich, Inc. carried out the planning, engineering, and construction of the project. In April 2023, FourSeasons joined the project to deliver customized HVAC and clean air solutions for the entire facility.
A comprehensive HVAC system was installed throughout the 89,648 square-foot area to efficiently service the new cafeteria, gymnasium, auditorium, library, and a two-story building containing 34 classrooms.
Our scope of work included installing twenty-two Trane rooftop units, a kitchen exhaust hood with connected exhaust fans, and a make-up air unit. We also set fifty-nine VAV terminal units, ductwork, grilles/diffusers, and louvers throughout the building, including fabric duct in the new gymnasium for a more efficient airflow dispersion. All connected to a Trane DDC controls system.
The McEwen High School project was completed in August 2025, with all systems successfully installed, tested, and operational.
Many thanks to Lashlee-Rich, Inc. for partnering with FourSeasons on the construction of this K-12 school. A meaningful project for the McEwen community.
