Brewing Community & Supporting Families at the 2025 BBQ in Red Shoes
Our team had the pleasure of attending the 16th Annual BBQ in Red Shoes on Friday in Nashville, hosted by the Associated General Contractors of Tennessee, Middle TN Branch. This beloved event brings together the Middle Tennessee construction community for a day of great food, great company, and great causes.
Nothing pairs better with a cook-off than a fresh cup of joe and tasty lemonade to help fuel the fun. Even better, the event supports the Ronald McDonald House, an organization that provides vital support to families with hospitalized children. Being part of an event that blends camaraderie with meaningful impact made the day truly special.
A Big Day, By the Numbers:
This year’s BBQ in Red Shoes was one of the most exciting yet, bringing together a huge crowd of supporters, volunteers, companies, and competitors—all for a great cause. A few highlights:
- 1,600+ estimated attendees
- 36 BBQ teams competing in the Chicken & Pork Ribs categories
- 82 companies represented
- Nearly 50 judges, including several from the Ronald McDonald House Board
These numbers showcase just how much passion and teamwork fuel this event each year.
The 2025 BBQ in Red Shoes did not disappoint. From reconnecting with familiar faces to meeting new members of the community, we enjoyed every minute of the energy and hospitality that make Nashville gatherings so memorable.
